Though the implant failure rate is very low if placed properly in the Basal bone by an experienced implantologist,but if an implant failure does happen, the implant will become loose and will have to be removed and can be replaced again immediately if there is sufficient bone present to place one, or else the implant should be removed, the area properly debrided and wait for 3 to 4 months for the bone to grow back and only then another implant placement can be done.
